So far so good. They seem very sturdy in their construction, and the ties were long enough that that I was able to find a way to tie them so they are secure and the ends don’t show.The fluffing up process remains to be seen because those chairs don’t get constant use, but I am hoping for the best.
I'm very happy to report that these fit my hard-to-fit Hitchcock chairs. They are very well made and, although we've only used them for a month or so, they are firm enough so that I'm confident that they will not flatten out. My only disappointment is of my own making: do not choose a black duck cover if you have a long-haired cat or wear flannel pajamas to the breakfast table! I wanted something unobtrusive and, the first few days, this combination was perfect, blended right in. But a month later, being not one to even own a lint brush, I see it was bad choice.
